Lizzie is the Director of Stunt Consulting and has over 14 years experience providing transport advice and delivering solutions for clients across the UK. Her experience has been gained across multi disciplinary global engineering firms as well as smaller independent transport consultants.

Lizzie is passionate about creating great spaces and promoting sustainable travel. Enabling people to travel efficiently and planning for all modes of transport is pivotal for a successful and versatile development, making it attractive to the appropriate end user. 

​

Lizzie has an MSc and Diploma of Imperial College in Transport and Sustainable Development, which included detailed research on streetscape design and shared space, as well as strategies to change travel behaviour.

 

Lizzie has developed strong links within the Thames Valley, London and the South East, working on a wide variety of schemes. She is passionate about creating great spaces and promoting sustainable travel.

Lizzie has extensive experience of regeneration schemes for affordable housing providers in London. She was proud to be part of a pilot scheme for the regeneration of a post war era tower block type residential area in the London Borough of Barnet. The local community were involved in the design process through the Mayors backed, co-design approach to a new mixed-use development, including significant public realm improvements.

She also has extensive experience of supporting a wide variety of commercial sites from single industrial units to large warehousing, storage and distribution centres. Lizzie has collaborated and negotiated with Highways England for numerous schemes. 

​

Lizzie produces Transport Assessments, Transport Scoping Reports, Feasibility Reports and provides evidence for Public Inquiries and Appeals. She negotiates obligations and conditions as well as monitors ongoing transport commitments to ensure compliance with consents.  

​

Lizzie has written and implemented many Travel Plans for a variety of land uses. The Travel Plan she wrote in relation to residential development in Surrey is currently used by Surrey County Council as their exemplar document for other Travel Planners to use as a reference.

 

Lizzie is highly experienced and used to working in line with the RIBA process, BREEAM, TfL's Healthy Streets and Vision Zero.

When she’s not working Lizzie is usually found enjoying spending time with her young family or hurtling round the countryside on a horse.
